Inland supply of pipe materials throughout Georgia and Azerbaijan in support of SCPx pipeline project construction activities.
We developed and implemented the structure, strategy and logistics operations for the project based on a block train solution using private wagons.
Our contribution:
- Designed, implemented and supervised rail transport project operations for more than 260 thousand tons
Construction materials for the South Caucasus expansion pipeline in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
- Performed market research and prepared a transport strategy by identifying all possible routes from the Black Sea
region and recommend the optimal solution, specifying infrastructure constraints, risk and associated costs.
- Found, analyzed and arranged procurement of transportation services from service providers in the markets of the former USSR and Georgia,
including conducting market research, managing tenders and overseeing the performance of contracts.
- Managed all phases of the project, including ramp-up period and day-to-day operations, as well as ongoing cost efficiency
program during the course of the project.
